Ryan Kesler is Back, Watch Out Chicago

The Vancouver Canucks sit in third place in the Western Conference as of today.  They have gotten this far without Ryan Kesler and now he is back.  Returning from injury he has played in two games so far which both turned out to be losses.  He has registered a goal and an assist in the two games.

Kesler is hoping for a better turnout tonight in Chicago.  I think Kesler being back is an amazing thing for the Vancouver Canucks.  This season they have an improved defense and some young talent that may be vital in the long run.  A big problem they are going through is deciding which goalie to start every day and should they trade Luongo?  Luongo is 4-0-3 and Schneider is 4-3-0 so the decision is hard both goalies are playing well.

My opinion is that Luongo should be traded.  They made the decision to name Schneider the starter last year in the playoffs and they should have stuck with it.  I think they can get a combination of prospects and players that will have instant impact on the team today.

Ryan Kesler is back and Vancouver will only get better but they could become even better with bringing some additional offense to the team by trading Luongo.

  1. Livonia's finest; Kesler is the real deal. He's probably my favorite American player.
